Throughout its history, Judson Realty has worked at the forefront of retail brand positioning in the city of New York. The luxury brands the company has worked with have defined their locations as they have the firm. From modest startups to major brand flagships, Judson Realty works one-on-one with tenants and landlords to achieve their specific goals.
Always in the know on the trends in their defined market, the team’s insights and expertise are of immeasurable value to their clients.
As the designers of the 1970s tested the waters with new fashion styles, so did they explore new locations in which to showcase their unique looks. Working with these creatives, Judson Realty helped create the “Madison Avenue mystique,” leading the urban renewal of Madison Avenue with a shift from modest retail to the world’s leading luxury brands. We are now playing an integral role in developing major new retail corridors around the city. Lessees rely on us for our deep understanding of the market and for our knowledge of what spaces are available or about to become available. Landlords rely on us because of our contact list and our superior due diligence – which enables us to find sound and suitable tenants – and because we ourselves are landlords.
Judson Realty’s knowledge of New York office buildings extends far deeper and richer than anything that can be found in any computer database. Whether you are a small business looking for a good deal on your first location, or a multinational corporation searching for a New York flagship office, we know how to make it happen. And because we have worked with most of the building owners in New York and are landlords ourselves, we understand the subtleties of successful deal-making and the superior due diligence that is needed in order to find reliable, financially solvent, long-term tenants for your space.Contact Us

Our group offers unrivaled expertise in navigating the challenges commonly presented by real estate transactions in New York City. Our consulting services have been employed by a wide range of property owners, commercial tenants and investors, as well as by numerous entities embarking on their very first ventures in New York.
We have exceptionally deep experience in three sub-specialties of the real estate business in New York – hotel properties and the world of fine arts. We have long been engaged in various aspects of hotel management and development and in the acquisition, renovation and sale of luxury hotels. Our history has been closely tied to two legendary Manhattan hotels in particular: The Mark, at 77th Street and Madison Avenue, and the Stanhope, at Fifth Avenue and 81st Street. E. William Judson played a pivotal role in the series of transactions that updated these classic pre-war structures and prepared them for new commercial success in the 21st century.
Judson Realty also possesses a unique understanding of the needs of the art world and has wide experience in supporting galleries, museums, artists and collectors in their endeavors. We assembled a large parcel for the Whitney Museum of American Art, paving the way for its future expansion. We created the first and largest climate-controlled facility for the storage of fine art in New York, the Judson Art Warehouse, 200,000 square feet of secure space to house valuable artifacts from around the world. We are a leader in arranging property sales or leases for galleries and museums. Recent deals have involved the Hirschl & Adler Galleries, the Adelson Galleries, the Cy Twombley Foundation and the Whitney Museum. A subsidiary of Judson Realty, Masterpak, provides archival materials for the packaging, shipping and storage of fine art.
Judson Realty is a custom real estate management firm specializing in smaller properties and properties that require renovation and upgrading. We are prepared to organize certiorari proceedings, including recommendations of experienced lawyers and accountants. We also provide placement and oversight capabilities in dealing with all insurance matters. The Art World:
Judson Art Warehouse - Perceiving the need for the storage of fine art and antiquities, E. William Judson purchased a dormant paint factory in Long Island City converting it into the first fully climate controlled, secure art storage facility in New York City. With 200,000 square feet of storage space, the facility numbered among its customers, every major New York museum, art gallery and a majority of the New York art world’s prominent living artists.
